Attorney Aslantas had the privilege of taking part in the Schulthess Forum Commercial Criminal Law 2023, which took place on November 30th in Zurich. It was an excellent opportunity to find out about the latest developments and practical questions in white collar criminal law and criminal procedure law.
The event offered deep insights into topics such as insider trading in the digital age, confiscation of cryptocurrencies, employee surveys as part of internal investigations and their use, innovations and open questions in the revised money laundering regulations, money laundering risks in the banking sector, roundup on private bribery and corporate criminal liability according to Art. 102 StGB and Art. 7 VStrR as well as selected provisions from administrative criminal law.
It was also a great platform to meet experts from criminal law practice and companies involved and to exchange ideas about current topics. I look forward to applying what I have learned in my practice as a criminal defense lawyer and look forward to the next event!
