If you are involved in criminal proceedings, refuse to testify and contact your defense attorney immediately. The same applies to further actions by the investigating authorities (e.g. identification measures, DNA testing, etc.). Also, don't allow a home search until you've spoken to your criminal defense attorney. If in doubt, you should request that all objects, documents, PCs, mobile phones, etc. be sealed.
